A solid display by New Jacks against a well-organised Phoenix Res side saw them to a comfortable 3-2 win in the Knockout Cup.
Jimmy Owen returned from injury to grab the match ball, scoring a hat-trick and also claiming the man of the match award.
Queens Head also moved into the next round with a 3-2 win, this time against Stonewood, who took the lead early on.
But goals from George Guest and Matt Balser put Queens in front and although Stonewood equalised, Matt Corran grabbed the winner.
Two goals apiece from Michael Davis, Lee Close and Ben Warren saw Skew Bridge into the next round of the Challenge Cup with a 6-0 defeat of Nascot Arms.
In the Intermediate Cup, Division Four Marshalswick Rovers almost caused an upset after taking a 2-0 lead through Steve Bellard and Jamie Moss against Division Two Brookmans Park Res.
Two own goals from Gary Hitchen and Ceri Dix got Park level but Rovers immediately hit back through Michael Bleach to restore the lead. Callum Baylis forced extra time for Park who came through 4-3 in the shoot-out.
