An injury depleted PSV crashed out at the first hurdle, losing 8-3 to Park Rangers. Craig Ashurst, Ryan Houghton and Owain Page scored PSV’s goals.

Vision had to go to extra-time before overcoming Athletico Hitchin 4-3. Joel Norris scored a hat-trick a Adam Wallace added a single.

Phoenix edged through to the next round with a 2-1 away to Flamstead. The scorers were Chris Eames and Harry Amponsem.

Intermediate Cup: Division Two high-flyers Blacksmiths Arms showed little mercy to Division Five’s Bricket Wood when running up a 12-2 score. The goals came from Olli Franks (three), Dean Skipsey (two), Jamie Sharp (two), Rhys Jacob (two), Ali Juhel (two) and Lee Sturgess.

Chuch End continued their good form with a 5-1 win at Athletico Quat. Scott Tyson and Carl Edwards scored two goals apiece and Joe O’Brien netted a single.

Junior Cup: Queens Head Reserves lost 4-3 to Stonewood. Their goals were scored by Luke Foster, Jak Hamilton and Jon Leto.

St Albans IFC were worthy 3-2 winners against Herts Mauritian. First-half goals from Spencer Clarke-Mardel (two) and Jason Nicolaou ensured Herts’ comeback, orchastrated by Nic Brobbey’s brace, fell short.

Division One: Two Drew Botterman goals couldn’t save Brookmans Park going down 3-2 against Bull & Jacks. Brad Harrison capped a fine game with two goals and Nathan Jackson added a single.

Six Bells recorded a 3-0 win over Skew Bridge Reserves. Jack Massey, (two) and Ben Hutton were on target.

Division Two: Queens Head came out 2-1 winners against Phoenix thanks to goals from Takis Gidaropoulos and Matt Corran. Phoenix replied through Ali Hill.

Goals from Dexter Simpson and Jack McCall gave Garston a 2-0 win against Cannon.

Jamie France was in unstoppable form for Pennine Spartan against Vision Reserves, scoring twice, as his side won 4-1. The other goals came from Adam Durrant and Jamie Smith.

Division Three: Two goals from Christy Torrens and a sweet chip from match-winner Sam Carrington sealed St Albans Rangers’ 3-1 win against Wheathampstead ‘89.

Greenwood Park recorded their fourth league win, defeating Harpenden Colts OB 4-2. Rory Suttie, Joe Smyth, James Booth and Robert Barron scored for Park while Colts’ reply came from Maurizio Cimo and Agoney Padron.

Division Four: Goals by James Lumsdon and Ben White gave Camp KBK a surprise 2-1 win against NBOB 90. Adriano Gil scored for Breakspear.

Marshalswick led twice through Steve Bellard but Oaks won it at the death 3-2 with a back post header. Oaks’ marksmen were Chris Coleman, Ian Shaw and Haydn Williams.

A Tom Upton goal earned Phoenix ‘A’ a share of the points in a 1-1 draw with AFC Welwyn, who had Steve Gurney on target.

A depleted St Albans Royals won 3-1 against Wheathampstead Crown with goals from Danby Galliers Stephen Brand and Toby Smith.

Cannon Reserves completed the double over White Horse with a 4-3 scoreline. The goals came from Antony Horwood, Ian McCarthy Jordan Cocomazzi and Ian Hutchinson.
