Hemel Hempstead v St Albans City
Saturday, August 1 - 3pm KO
Where: Vauxhall Road, Hemel Hempstead, Hertforshire, HP2 4HW (Tel 01442 259 777)
Who: Hemel Hempstead were very close to playing Blue Square South this season after they lost out in the Southern Premier play-offs to Farnborough. The Tudors, who are managed by Dennis Green, were dealt a massive blow in the summer when influential defender Nathan Bowden-Haase left to join Blue Square Premier side Histon.
Green moved swiftly to replace the defender with former Welling United defender Matthew McEntegart.
Pre-season: After losing their first game of pre-season 2-1 to Grays Athletic, The Tudors are since unbeaten notching wins against Arlesey Town (2-1), Barton Rovers (2-0), Biggleswade Town (5-0) and Ware (3-1).
Players: This is likely to be City's last chance to field the XI that will take to the field at Dorchester on the opening day of the season, with the club not willing to risk players picking up injuries at Bedford next Tuesday.
City trialist Drew Roberts will come up against his former club.
