Colney Heath’s unbeaten run came to an end at Leverstock Green on Saturday.
The Magpies had picked up maximum points from their last four games but went down 5-3 to their near rivals.
Heath looked like they would extend their streak to five games after Joshn Bronti and Josh Humbert gave Heath a 2-1 lead. Bronti then bolstered their position with a third.
Leverstock Green had other ideas, though. as they quickly scored two goals to make it level and then broke away twice towards the end of the game to surprise the visitors, sending the Magpies to return home with nothing.
Heath return to SSML Premier Division action as they travel to Tring Athletic on Saturday.
