League leaders Soutendian Ladies beat Colney Heath Ladies 4-1 on Sunday.
The hosts broke the deadlock following a succession of corners and then doubled the lead after a loose ball was played through to the striker, who finished with aplomb.
Heath fought back and earned a foothold in the game through Holly Sheridan, who linked up with Lucy Hancock before rounding the goalkeeper and placing the ball into an empty net.
The Magpies continued their high work-rate in the second half without any reward. Southendian scored the next goal from the penalty spot, after a last-ditch foul which saw Heath reduced to 10, before wrapping up the victory late on.
