PARK Street Village boss Ryan Thompson was shocked as his side went down 4-0 to Hatfield Town in the Premier Division on Saturday.
An own goal inside the first 10 minutes set the tone and Hatfield surged into a four-goal lead at the break. Thompson said: "We were awful. I take my hat off to Hatfield they were absolutely superb and moved the ball really quickly. We were 4-0 down after about 30 minutes and it could have been 10 by half time."
The PSV defence has been the meanest in the Premier Division this season and the players finally got to grips with the job in the second half battling well to deny the second placed side any further goals.
On Saturday Park Street go away to Bovingdon in a dress rehearsal for the Aubrey Cup final to be played in May.
