THREE goals from Spencer Clarke-Mardel and a penalty from Tommy Hunt saw the Under 18s South record a 4-2 win at home to AC Finchley in the second round of the Challenge Cup.

George Hackett scored a consolation goal in a 9-1 defeat suffered by the Under 18s East against Whetstone.

The Under 16s West were beaten 3-1 away by Riverside Hibernian. Adam Thornhill scored the goal for the West.

Goals from Man of the Match Ashley Bryant and Tom Pile proved the only consolation as the depleted Under 16s South lost their unbeaten league record, going down 10-2 to Edson Youth.

George Hunter scored the winner and Michael Lee netted a thumping finish as the Under 15s East beat Hadley Wood 2-1. Niall McGowan, Ashley Talbot and Richard D'Rosario played a part in a slick move to set up the winning goal.

Dominic Oliver scored an excellent hat trick as the Under 15s West beat Leverstock Green 5-2. George Sanderson netted twice and goalkeeper Max Rodford was named Man of the Match.

The Under 14s West drew 1-1 away at Hemel Hempstead Town with Kobayne Wilson scoring an excellent header. Full backs Hal Maher and Ollie Wildman took the joint Man of the Match award.

Goals from Matt Springall, Luke Yaxley and Daniel Smith secured a 3-3 draw for the Under 14s East away at Berkhamsted. Goalkeeper Josh Molloy played well.

The Under 13s North drew 1-1 with St Albans Rangers thanks to a goal from Luke Ferdinand. Calum Peet was named Man of the Match.

Jamie Moroney scored with a fine strike from distance and Noah Grisenthwaite also netted a spectacular goal as the Under 13s South looked set for a result against Maclay White before going down 3-2 to a late effort. Centre back Morgan Williams was named Man of the Match and Nathan Greaves was outstanding on the left wing.

Josh Farmer scored a good goal but two defensive mistakes proved costly as the Under 13s East were beaten 2-1 by Alexandra Park. Kieran Gastaldi-Davies was named Man of the Match.

Two goals from Matt Cross and strikes from Alex White and Chris Litchfield secured a 4-1 win for the Under 12s North at home to Hadley & Wingate. Kit Osborn headed against the cross bar and Alasdair Walker played superbly in goal.

Alex Gilbert scored the only goal for the Under 12s South as they lost 4-1 to Harvesters. Goalkeeper Luke Hazelhurst had a fine game and was named Man of the Match.

The Under 12s East lost 3-0 at home to Kings Langley. Midfielder Alex Court had a good game with a battling performance.

Hat tricks from Toby Parker and Sam Reynolds helped the Under 11s North beat Berkhamsted Raiders 8-1. Josh Bean scored a brace and the North defended superbly.

Conor Sweeney scored two goals and Christian Edwards and Gerardo Smaldone netted one goal each as the Under 11s South beat Chorleywood Dynamite 4-1 away. Right back Luke Lanham was in superb form and took the Man of the Match award.

Stuart Peet and Oliver Shepherd scored for the Under 11s West but they were defeated 4-2 at Evergreen.

Jed Salmon scored and right back Tom Young was named Man of the Match as the Under 11s Boreal drew 1-1 with Hemel Hempstead Town.

Goals from Stephen Kerslake, Charlie Scott and Darius Hedge secured a 3-2 win for the Under 11s East against Herts Sign Youth. Charlie Scott added two more goals and Darius Hedge netted again as the East then beat S & B Stripes 3-1. In their third match the East were beaten 6-0 at home by Bury Rangers. Left back William Selby had a fine game and was named Man of the Match.

Goalkeeper Felix Hull made some good saves and was named Man of the Match but could not prevent the Under 11s Warriors losing 12-0 to Bury Rangers.

In the Mid Herts Rural League, the Under 10s East were in rampant form to crush Bury Rangers Red 12-0. Goals were scored by Man of the Match Jake Anthony (three), Bryn Williams (three), Thomas Goldstone (two), Jacob Grisenthwaite, Linden Gabriel, Sam Lachau and Elliot Wylie.

Will Mattin and Charlie Lunniss each scored twice to help the Under 10s North beat Bury Rangers Red 6-0 in the County Cup. Luke Houghton and Stephen Heather also scored. The Man of the Match award was shared by Charlie Lunniss and Stephen Heather.

Bradley Wood scored the winning goal as the Under 10s Orient beat hosts Chorleywood 1-0.

The Under 10s West lost 3-0 away to Potters Bar in the County Cup. Joe Baymon put in a good display in midfield on his debut.

The Under 10s South put in a battling performance but suffered a 6-0 defeat against Hemel Aces Yellows.

In the County Cup, the Under 9s North hammered Sun Postal Blue 11-0. David Etheridge scored five goals and further strikes from Tom Levy (two), Harry Wright, Alfie Booth, Ned Robinson and Christopher Stevens.

The Under 9s South lost 6-2 to Letchworth with Andrew Bailey scoring both the goals for the South.

Man of the Match Ross Weaver scored five goals as the Under 8s South defeated Wodson Park 8-1. Frankie Adio scored twice and Joe Lake netted once to seal the emphatic victory.

Harry Shepherd scored a hat trick as the Under 8s North beat Wodson Park 5-0. Dominic Dee and Ibrahim Rahman also netted.
