Brentwood 27 Harpenden 21
A DEPLETED Harpenden pack put up a good fight, making opponents Brentwood work very hard for their 27-21 win.
The London One new boys from Redbourn Lane were without half of the pack that played during the club's convincing opening day victory against Rochford Hundred and their more organised and experienced opponents were able to capitalise.
Harpenden did however run in three eye-catching tries with Marchon claiming two to go with the one he scored the week before.
The outstanding Spiers also crossed the whitewash with Jon Barton converting all three tries.
