Harpenden Town manager Simon Andrews has stepped down from the position.

Andrews took over in the summer but has left his pos due to work commitments. His assistant, Danny Plumb, has agreed to take the helm.

Plumb has been involved with Harpenden Town for many years and has played a vital role in bringing through some of the young players.

The club is now on the lookout for qualified coaches or an assistant manager to support Plumb as well as a physio team and committee members to push Harpenden Town forward.

In addition, the club is rapidly progressing with its plans to develop the clubhouse, and is at the stage where it is looking for a local business to take up sponsorship of the re-developed ground for up to a 15 year period.
