HARPENDEN Lawn Tennis Club vets Monica Becerra and Bridie Amos had two representatives in the 4 Nations Cup, held in Dublin.

The 4 Nations is a competition between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with age groups 35’s, 45’s and 50’s. Becerra and Amos represented the 45’s age group in both singles and doubles. Only three players make each team.

Both Becerra and Amos played fantastically well, winning both singles and doubles and only closely missing out to Ireland on the last day. It was a debut 4 Nations for Amos who won five out of six of her matches.
