Harpenden Hockey Club’s mens first team were involved in a thrilling game with their West Herts neighbours – but they came out on the wrong end of the score.
The game, played at Clarence Park last Saturday, ended with West Herts picking up a 4-3 win.
The result leaves Harpenden 10th in the East Leagues Division Two South table.
Our photographer Kevin Lines was on hand to record the action.
Harpenden ladies will take centre stage this week with a home game against Hertford.
The men are heading south to face Wapping.
