STRIKER Paul Hakim is expected to be back in action on Saturday as City bid to end a run of three games without a goal.

After firing in seven goals in two home matches, City have now failed to score in three fixtures and suffered three consecutive defeats.

Manager Steve Castle is refusing to panic and hopes that the return of Hakim from injury will coincide with victory at struggling Newport County. Hakim was named on the bench but was not deemed fit enough to come on as City toiled without reward against Thurrock on Saturday. Castle said: "Our top goalscorer was on the bench and it would have been very risky to put him on. He wasn't fit. My main intent was keeping him for next Saturday and the season beyond.
