Herts Sunday Junior Cup
Greenwood secured an extra-time win over Cheshunt Town on Sunday.
Two goals from Andy Cornish put Greenwood two goals up, only for Town to level before the end. However strikes from Nick Fanshaw (two) and Man of the Match Matt Hedges settled the tie.
St Albans IFC Reserves defeated Oxhey Lions 5-3. Man of the match Sam Carrington-Kennedy scored a hat-trick before ending the game in goal. Sam Crafts hit a 25-yard beauty and John Thompson crashed in a header to seal the win in extra time.
St Albans IFC held their nerve to win 5-3 on pens after a 2-2 draw. Pedro Silva opened the scoring lobbing the keeper from outside the area with a quality finish. TC Wanderers levelled then took the lead in extra time before Jason Nicolaou equalised with a header.
Old Albanians and Tring Royals were deadlocked at 4-4 after extra-time. But in the 15-goal penalty shoot out Albanians came out on top 8-7. Normal time goals came from Man of the Match Rob Carragher with his second hat-trick of the season and a Lee Simpson single, his first of the season.

Goals from Ali Challans and a Man of the Match performance from Sam Brooker couldn’t save Oaks from going down 2-1 against White Horse Kimpton.
Blacksmith Arms defeated Precision 5-1 with Dean Skipsey bagging a hat-trick. Matt Newman replied for Precision.
Nicholas Breakspear OB Res put in a good performance against Dane End Utd, winning 5-1 with Man of the Match Tom Gajjar scoring a hat-trick and singles by Sam Mardle and Ben Haines.
Marshalswick Rovers put in a good performance to overcome Potten End Sunday 7-2. Two goals came from Jamie Moss plus singles by Ali Bart, Daryl Felton, Rafael Velasco, who was Man of the Match and two own goals.
Herts Athletic fell to a 3-2 defeat away to Hadham Villa Chris Wilding and Scott Dalton scored their goals.

Six Bells lost 4-1 to Premier Division side Vision. Callum Davies scored for Bells, whiel Liam Crouch hit a hat-trick for Vision, along with a Joel Norris strike.
Harpenden Arms defeated Herts Mauritian 4-1, with Andy Findlay and Gary Findlay each scoring twice.

Dukes lost 3-2 to Harpenden Colts OB. Colts goals came from Man of the Match Cheng He, Marc Oakley and Alex Dennehy.
London Road picked up their second win of the season when completing the double over Phoenix, again in a 4-2 scoreline. A star performance came from young Stephen Rogers with two goals. Dan Butcher and Greg Shaw completed the scoring.
Nicholas Breakspear OB picked up their sixth win from eight games in a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Verulam Arms. Goals came from Man of the Match Charlie Robinson and Danny Fitzgerald. Matt Kenneford replied for the Arms.
Ed Frost picked up the Skew Bridge Man of the Match award after scoring four goals in the Skew’s 7-2 victory of AFC Rangers. Chris Gregory, Mark Hitchcock and the impressive Dave Keenleyside also got on the scoresheet.
Queens Head Sandridge kept their first clean sheet of the season in a 3-0 win against Brookmans Park. Matthew Monhon opened the scoring, followed by a penalty from Matt Corran. The goal a game came from Phil Turner just before the end.
FC Potters Bar and Oaks shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Harry Hunt was Oaks star performer.
Beaver Travel put in an excellent all round team performance to overcome Phoenix Reserves 2-0 with goals from Nicholas Bromilow and Ish Omar.
Colney Heath Rangers put in a dominant performance to surprisingly despatch PSV with ease, winning 3-0 for only their second success of the season. John Baines was the PSV star player.
Church End lost 4-0 to Insurance Store, conceding two penalties in a poor performance as Store ended a three-game losing run. Michael Cattermole picked up the Store’s star performance, scoring three goals. Matt Godby scored the other.
George Naismith put in a fantastic performance in midfield as the Skew Bridge Res came from 1-0 down to win 5-1 against Wheathampstead Icarus and stay top of the division. Tom Clark and James Elliott were also superb and they, along with Adam Fitton and Stephen Harris all scored.
Two goals from Ian McCarthy was enough to see Colney Heath Rangers Res defeat Queens Head Sandridge Res 2-0.
Wheathampstead ‘89 and White Horse shared the points in a 3-3 draw. Duncan Gray, Aaron Delaney and James Lynch scoring for Wheathampstead.
Brookmans Park A recorded their best win of the season with a 7-3 win against White Horse Res. Three players hit two goals apiece: Michael Donkin, Ronnie Dunn and Tobias Hanlon plus a Oliver Thomas single. White Horse’s reply came from their Man of the Match Matt Pond, Chris Simiou and James Toomey.
In eleven goal thriller Cottonmill won 7-4 against Vision Res. Three Tim couch corners were met with Craig Redgwell’s head. A Tim Couch brace, Chris Atkins and Pat Nyamangunda singles completed the tally. Vision’s goals were scored by Luiz Magalhies, Junior almelda and Mohammed Bakhti.
St Albans Royals snatched a late winner through Scott Lye in their 4-3 victory over a depleted Ridge.
Marquis of Granby got their first away win against Raiders United. Raiders fought hard twice coming back against Marquis but with great saves from Dave Mackie and Man of the Match Ross Dempsey’s five goals, the three points were secured in a 5-3 win.
Jersey Farm dominated against Bricket Wood to record a 10-0 win. Scorers were Ross Ashcroft, Lee Westrope, Loris Macone (hat-trick), Sam Lawrence, Matt Lacey and Andy Hall (two).
The George Redbourn lost 6-3 to Camp KBK. Aaron Goldsmith was on target for Redboun, while Ben Tester (two), Ryan Lafoley (two), Dean Jones and Matt Peters scored for Camp.
Phoenix A took a quick lead against Athletico Quat, before two Christian Willcox goals, and a third from Ashley Clifford, put the Quat in front at half time.
With Quat leading 3-1, they then missed a penalty and with half an hour to go, injury reduced the Quat to ten men before Phoenix levelled the game.
AFC Mymms fell to their third defeat when going down 3-2 against Bradmore Rovers whose goals came from Antony Ansell, Paul Newton and Man of the Match Nicholas Saunders. Andy Crump scored both Mymms’ goals.
