VERULAM Swimming Club came home from the Barnet Open Meet with a fantastic haul of 10 gold medals.
The club took 25 swimmers to the event and in the 111 races that they competed in they recorded 45 personal best times made even more impressive by the number of young swimmers taking part.
Along with their ten gold medals, the club's swimmers also collected eight silver medals and six bronze and their were fantastic swims from Stanley and Eloise Tinkler, Harry Parker, Amy Webb, Emily Muggleton, Charlotte Filmore and Luke Ashton.
In two weeks time, Verulam will be competing in the final round of the Herts league and with the chance of promotion everyone is very excited and keen to race.
