TWO coaches from St Albans Judo club were recently selected to represent Great Britain in the 2008 European Kata Championships held in Malta.

Having spent many months studying and trying to perfect their Ju-No- Kata, coaches Zoli Borzak and Bob Cleevely were extremely proud to have been chosen to represent their country and praised their club coach Ian Wasey, for his many hours of patience and encouragement.

The St Albans pair were up against world class opposition and delighted their supporters with a good performance beating teams from Austria and Portugal.

St Albans Judo club have regular Kata classes on Tuesdays and Fridays and are preparing to defend titles in several United Kingdom competitions as the action hots up.
