Jimmy Gray and Graham Golds, joint-manager’s of St Albans City, have resigned following the club’s 4-0 defeat to Lowestoft Town.
The defeat in the FA Trophy was the club’s third in eight days, a run which had also seen them concede 11 goals.
In a statement the club said: “Following today’s defeat away to Lowestoft in the FA Trophy, the club has accepted the resignation of joint managers, James Gray and Graham Golds.
“The club would like to thank James and Graham for all their work and wish them both every success in the future.”
They went on to say that first team coach, Harry Wheeler, will take charge of Tuesday night’s game away to Oxhey Jets in the Herts Senior Cup.
