Good Friday runs for Striders

There was a strong performance from the Striders at the Maidenhead 10 on Good Friday.

The first Strider to finish was Graham Smith in 21st place, with a personal best time of 57:11, followed by Richard Harry in 59:55 and Wendy Walsh in 1:04. Smith and Walsh were both the fifth in their categories, vet 40 and vet 35 respectively. Doug Hobson (1:05.40), Howard Bull (1:11.25) and Martin Loose (1:17.56) also represented the Striders in the 62nd Easter race in Maidenhead.

Jack Brooks and former Strider Graham Ridley took part in the Run Around the Reservoir Trail Marathon in Northampton on Easter Sunday, Brooks finishing the race in 3:49:16.

Blake Vivian was third place in the St Albans Park Run this week in a time of 17:00 and Wendy Walsh was the first female runner to finish in 19:24.
