St Albans City made it six wins in eight games with a 1-0 win at Maidenhead United – putting them to within a point of safety at the foot of the Vanarama National League South.
Michael Thalassitis was the hero, scoring six minutes from time in a game which put a major dent in their host’s play-off aspirations.

Saints are next in action tomorrow night (Tuesday) when they take on local rivals Hemel Hempstead Town at Vauxhall Road.
