MORE than 300 competitors are expected to take part in the Cannons Tri Force St Albans' Triathlon in June.
The event is a favourite among novice triathletes and last year was awarded novice status.
The 400m swim, 20k cycle ride and 5km run makes for a challenging event on Sunday, June 8.
All competitors receive a t-shirt, and Tri Force Club Chairman, Howard Davis said "The Cannons Tri Force triathlon is a well organized event, run by Tri Force members, and is something the community should be proud of.
"The event will be a wonderful opportunity for people new to triathlon to give the sport a go. If people would want to take part but feel unsure about what a triathlon might entail they should come along to a Tri Force session."
