The 2K starts at 10am on Sunday, May 18 and is an off road, circular run on good footpaths. It is ideal for families and for a pre 10K warm up. The challenging off-road 10K starts at 11am and is popular with all standards of runner because of its outstanding scenery. The eventful morning rounds off with a BBQ, café, bouncy castles and a fun for the children.

The race takes place at the Memorial Hall, Marford Road. Book in advance by logging on to http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/events/ or download an application form from www.wheathampstead.net The fee for the 10k is £10 in advance and £15 on the day, and for the 2k the cost is £3 in advance and £4 on the day when the Late Entries desk is open from 9am. The race is sponsored by GHM Consultancy Group in association with Aro Sports. All proceeds go to Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery.
