THE Herts Sports Partnership staged the inaugural 45+ Games on Wednesday, June 18.
The event, at the Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield, was a huge hit, with around 200 people joining in with a wide range of free activities.
A couple in their early 60s, Lynda and Peter Fardell from St Albans enjoyed the action and said: "All instructors gave us a really good taster of their particular sport. We are now determined to continue with those new activities we enjoyed the most."
The event offered swimming, tag rugby, walking, dancing, archery, badminton, keep fit, yoga and much more. Organiser Fiona Deans was pleased with the turn out.
If you are aged 45+, see the website www.sportinherts.org.uk or contact Fiona Deans on 01707 281005 for details.
