St Albans City remain 10th in the Vanarama Conference South after a 2-1 loss at Sutton United.

James Comley put the Saints into a first-half lead but Billy Medlock and Charlie Clough ensured the hosts left with all the points.

City are back in action on New Year’s Day, when they travel to Hemel Hempstead Town’s Vauxhall Road, kick-off 1pm. The teams drew 1-1 at Clarence Park on Boxing Day.
