St Albans City beat Hadley 3-2 to reach the semi-final of the Herts Senior Cup for the first time under joint managers James Gray and Graham Golds.
Hemel Hempstead knocked the Saints out at the quarter-final stages of the last two competitions but this year they managed to come from behind to beat SSML Premier Division outfit Hadley.
Dom Petrucci put Micky Hazzard’s side 2-0 nil up but John Frendo scored either side of trialist Michael Malcolm to ensure City’s passage into the final four.
