St Albans City put on an impressive display to beat Eastbourne Borough 3-0 at Clarence Park.
Steve Wales scored an fantastic 25-yard strike before Simon Thomas finished a whipped cross from Lee Chappell to give the Saints a 2-0 half-time lead. City continued to dominate in the second half and were rewarded with a third when Adam Watts, under pressure from Jack Green, put the ball into his own net.
St Albans’ jumped up to 14th in the Vanarama Conference South ahead of Saturday’s trip to Gosport Borough.
