Ricky Shakes gave the visitors a third minute lead before Junior Morias wrapped up the points in the 90th minute. The Saints showed signs of life, and nearly got back into the game, in the second half, especially after John Frendo and Cameron Lancaster were introduced, but the equaliser remained elusive.
City are in Herts Senior Cup quarter-final action on Tuesday against Hadley (7.45pm kick-off) at Clarence Park. On Saturday, they welcome Concord Rangers, the team that knocked them out of the FA Cup, 3pm kick-off.
