St Albans City ended their seven game winless run with an superb 2-0 win over Weston-super-Mare.
The Saints last win came on January 17 against Concord Rangers, and Saturday’s win was every bit as impressive.
John Frendo looked back to his goal-scoring best, Jamal Lowe played with a swagger that Weston’s defence couldn’t handle, Sam Corcoran pulled the strings in the middle, and scored a goal of the season contender, and Joe Welch never looked like getting beaten.
City have a two week break before welcoming basement side Staines, who may have already been relegated, to Clarence Park on March 28.
