St Albans City ended their barren home run with a 1-0 win over Havant and Waterlooville on Saturday.
The Saints have struggled at Clarence Park this season and hadn’t won at home in the league since September but Sean Shields fired a late goal to earn all three points.
City return to Clarence Park this weekend when they take on Wealdstone in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy. Kick-off is 3pm.
