Old Albanian came from behind to beat Blaydon and pick up their second successive National League One Victory
Billy Johnson scored OAs only try on the day but thanks to Dan Watt’s four penalties, their defensive resoluteness and their ability to retain possession in the latter stages of the game when protecting a slender lead, they held on to win.
Andy Holloway’s side remain in the relegation zone heading into Saturday’s game at Wharfedale, the team directly above them. OAs won the first meeting between the sides and a repeat performance will see them leapfrog Wharfedale.
