James Comley has been St Albans City’s player of the month for December.
Comley appeared in all six games in December, with his sole goal coming against Sutton on December 28. He also had one assist, setting up John Frendo in the Herts Senior Cup second round win over Kings Langley.
The highlight of his month, however, came ahead of the Bromley game on December 20 when he was promoted to club captain after Ben Martin’s departure.
The Harpenden Construction Ltd sponsored award will be presented to Comley prior to this Saturday’s game against Concord Rangers by Lisa Pearson, on behalf of the December sponsors, Radio Verulam West Herts Drivetime Team.
