Wheathampstead Wanderers
RIGHT back Rory Scott was named Man of the Match as the Under 16s Wanderers took on Boreham Wood 2000 in the County Cup. The Wanderers put in a positive performance but missed a penalty and went down 2-0.
The Under 11s Sharks won their second league match of the season against second-placed Welwyn Pegasus 4-1. Joshua Hamilton scored the first two, his second following good work down the left by Tom Porter and Tom Carter setting up the chance to be lofted over a stranded keeper. In the second half, Oliver Edmond headed home a Euan Stewart corner and then Man of the Match Tom Porter scored with a fine left-foot shot from the edge of the box. Pegasus pulled one back from the penalty spot in the last minute.
