ST ALBANS City endured a wasted trip to the Midlands on Saturday as their game at Redditch United fell foul of a frozen pitch.
The problem spot fell in the shade of the main stand and despite the best efforts of the home side to get the contest on referee Thomas Harty deemed the pitch unplayable after a 1.45pm pitch inspection.
There is no news yet on a date for the rearranged fixture.
