DEFENDER Ryan Frater is in contention for a start on Saturday and full back James fisher is set to be fit to face Bognor Regis Town.

Doubts remain about the fitness of James Quilter and Alex Bailey who were both injured in the win at Basingstoke Town. Right back Lee Protheroe is also a doubt and winger Hassan Sulaiman has been ruled out.

Frater returned from his fractured leg sustained in pre-season when he came on as a second-half substitute and played his part in the 2-1 win at Basingstoke. City manager Steve Castle said: "It is a big plus to get Ryan back. He was a big player for us in the last few months of last season."

Striker Gary Cohen could be fit to face Bognor despite a hamstring problem. Castle is backing his strikers to score the goals to shoot City into the top half of the Blue Square South. He said: "We haven't got a striker in at this moment in time but we are confident that Paul Hakim, Simon Martin and Gary Cohen will get goals. Gary is not far away from where we want him to be and he is looking for a starting place. That is his main aim.
