ST ALBANS City's squad has begun taking shape after four first team players signed Conference South forms with the club at training last night.
Gary Cohen, Alex Bailey, Inih Effiong and Adam Everitt all signed on for City, who need to have 14 players registered 14 days prior to the start of the season.
Cohen, who netted seven goals in 32 starts for City last term, is the highest profile player to sign on with Everitt and Bailey also featuring regularly for the Saints having joined mid-way through last season.
Striker Effiong, who is a product of the Oaklands Academy, broke into the first team squad at the end of last season and it is hoped he will continue to develop throughout the 2009/10 season.
