Lee Clarke is the latest former Saint to be enticed back to Clarence Park.
Joint managers James Gray and Graham Golds brought back Ben Martin and Paul Bastock last summer, moves which helped City return to the Conference. Now, they have signed Clarke, a player who scored 92 goals in 231 appearances during his last period for the Saints and remains the all-time highest goal scorer in the Conference South.
Clarke moves to St Albans from Welling United having captained the Wings to the Conference South title in 2012/13.
