A former Oaklands College student has just missed out on a medal at the IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha.
Olivia Breen finished fourth in the T38 100m final in a time of 13.46 seconds, just four hundredths behind her personal best.
All three athletes ahead of her went under the world record.
Breen’s British team-mate, and holder of that record, Sophie Hann, took the gold in a time of 12.60, smashing her previous mark of 13.04.
China’s Junfei Chen was second in 12.97 while the Russian, Margarita Goncharova, was third in 13.01.
