Stutes snap up Spanish forward
FORMER St Albans City striker Pelayo Gomez has joined Conference North side Histon.
The Spaniard made eight appearances for City, scoring twice, during a loan spell from npower League One side Brentford before being released by the Bees.
Histon manager, David Livermore, said: “Pelayo played in a behind-closed-doors friendly game with us a week or so ago and has trained with the squad since then. “The next stage is to see him in a competitive game so we signed him to be able to play against Lakenheath and we’ll see where we go from there.”
