WINGER Hassan Sulaiman has delivered a boost to St Albans City manager Steve Castle by agreeing terms to remain with the club next season.
The former Arsenal trainee set up the goal for Simon Martin in the Spurs XI friendly at Clarence Park and then netted a spectacular effort at Boreham Wood on Saturday.
Sulaiman, aged 22, was troubled by hamstring problems last season but still managed 30 league appearances scoring twice. He signed for former boss Ritchie Hanlon after impressing in pre-season in 2007 and has now signed Conference forms and could put pen to paper on a contract deal this week.
The future of experienced midfielder Paul Bruce remains unclear. The experienced former Dagenham & Redbridge man has not yet featured for City in pre-season. The 30-year-old scored seven league goals for City last term.
