LONDON Colney Midweek team finally made their point when they earned a 0-0 draw at Edgware Town on Thursday, January 26. The young Blueboys went into the game searching for their first points of the season and started brightly with Shaun Murphy, Ben O'Sullivan and Dominic Haynes looking dangerous for Colney. In the second half Murphy had a header saved and Shenhal Samarasinghe followed up but saw his effort blocked on the line. Soon after Samarasinghe had a low shot tipped around the post. Colney goalkeeper Nathan Byrne made two fine saves and Carmen cleared an effort off the line before the end.
