Basingstoke Town v St Albans City
Saturday, November 7 - 3pm KO
Where: Camrose, Western Way, Basingstoke, Hants, RG22 6EZ
Who: Basingstoke have surprised many this season with their good start and they currently sit in sixth place in the Blue Square South table.
Managed by former Leeds United and Nottingham Forest star Frank Gray, the Dragons have put last season's 18th placed finish to one side and have recorded some impressive results including a 3-2 away win over Dover Athletic.
Season so far: Gray's side started the season with three straight victories and it wasn't until game nine that they tasted defeat for the first time when they lost 2-1 to local rivals Woking.
Since the Woking defeat the Dragons' form has tailed off picking up just three victories in their next eight matches and suffering defeat in the other five including in their last two outings against Bromley (0-2) and Newport County (0-1).
Last season: City recorded a double over Town last season winning 2-1 at the Camrose and running out 3-0 winners in the reverse fixture.
Jonathan Hunt and a Rob Watkins own goal gave City the points in Hampshire while goals from Paul Hakim, Gary Cohen and James Fisher sealed City's win at Clarence Park to give Steve Castle's side their first victory in 12 league games.
Players: David Pratt is Basingstoke's leading scorer this season with five goals to his name. Pratt is joined up front by the diminutive Jahson Downes. The former Reading trainee joined Basingstoke in the summer after spending last season at Bognor Regis Town and has netted three goals so far this season.
Steve Castle has added three players to his squad ahead of the trip to the Camrose with Conner Baker, Lamine Sagna and Danny Johnson all joining the Saints.
Baker has been called up with Adam Everitt unlikely to shake off the groin injury he sustained during last weekend's win over Weymouth while also added to the squad is youth team captain Rob Magwood who is providing cover for Solomon Shields.
Referee: Andrew Laver (Hampshire) assisted by V D Penfold and D Berry.
Mr Laver was the fourth official during AFC Bournemouth's 4-0 defeat to Rochdale last weekend.
