Wheathampstead have reached a cup final in their debut season, beating a tough Oxhey side away 4-3 in the Sir Stanley Rous Challenge semi-finals.

The game was won in extra time with Wanderers down to 10 men after talisman Jason Pawlaczek was dismissed for a second yellow.

Striker Lee Cordell had completed his second hat-trick for the club but it was super-sub veteran Andy Bromwich who rose at the far post to head into the opposite corner of the net to seal the win with three minutes to go.

Wheato will meet Tring Athletic in the final.
