Welwyn Warriors and The Wrestlers put on a treat for the fans inside Clarence Park before hot-shot James Todd finally sealed the game and the GD Golding Cup with a 4-3 victory.
Todd has been on-fire in this competition and scored all four of Welwyn's goals in the final, taking his tally in the tournament up to 21.
It was a game worthy of the final but it saw Wrestlers draw first blood, scoring a penalty after Kingston was fouled.
Warriors had one goal chalked off before Todd equalised prior to the break, pouncing after an Allan Johnston nod down.
Todd bagged two after the break, Defeo and Alex Georgiou providing the assists, but Wrestlers pulled one back to make for a few nervous moments in the Welwyn defence.
However, composure was restored when Scott Cornell put James Todd through to lash home his and Welwyn's fourth goal and although Wrestlers scored a fine free kick in injury time, it was Warriors who took the win.
Back in the Herts Ad Sunday League there was a 2-2 draw for AFC Mymms and Beehive in Division One. Beehive's goals came from star man Nathan Dimmock and Zach Wallace while Nathan Singh scored both the Mymms goals.
