JEFF Minton and Kevin James have been released by Chelmsford City.

The midfield duo had both played an important role last season as the Clarets made the play-offs but with Glenn Pennyfather looking to re-shape his squad the club decided to release the pair.

Matty Hale's squad re-shaping at Weymouth has continued with the signing of Scott Brice.

The 22-year-old centre-half moves to the Wessex Stadium after spending the last two seasons with Southern Premier League side Yate Town.
