DORCHESTER Town's young midfielder Jamie Symes has been given a trial at Coca-Cola Championship side Blackpool.

The 16-year-old, who is dual-registered with Bridport Town, is unable to sign a contract until he turns 17 in June.

Weston-super-Mare have been dealt a blow with the news that Charlie Comyn-Platt is returning to Australia.

The midfielder had only just returned from Australia but was unable to feature for the Seagulls because they had been unable to gain international clearance.

The tribunal to settle the transfer fee for Charlie Sheringham's switch from Welling United to Bishop' Stortford is due to take place today (Thursday).
