St Albans City Youth begin their quest for FA Youth Cup glory with a home tie in the preliminary round.

Sam Mardle’s men will face Hayes & Yeading in a match to be played the week commencing Monday, September 5.

Colney Heath are a new entry in the competition this year and their reward is a home tie with Hitchin Town.

Should both sides make it through to the first qualifying round two weeks later, City would host either Hendon or Tring Athletic while Heath would be away to Edgware Town.
