Lee Clarke has undergone an MRI scan which has revealed that he has a chunk of cartilage missing in his knee.

Clarke said: "It's a waiting game now. I had the MRI scan about two weeks ago and it came back showing that I've got a chunk missing out of my cartilage.

"They couldn't see it floating around but a couple of days after my MRI, at training my knee collapsed again.

"I had it checked out and it seems there is something floating around the front and side of my knee which could be the loose cartilage."

Clarke has been hampered by injury all season and he says that it's been a very frustrating time.

"It's not so bad at the moment with the rain and snow outside!

"It's been a long road since and it's been frustrating not being able to play anywhere near my full potential.

"I was trying my hardest for the team but I was not able to stamp my authority on the game.

"It's just a case of waiting now. If I can get it sorted quickly there is a chance I could be back before the end of the season.
