Harvesters U16s Girls edge past St Albans City

YOUTH FOOTBALL: JACK Nevin hit five goals as Harvesters U14s North won 9-0 against St Albans Rangers U14s in the WFL Challenge Cup.
Sam Robinson, Ryan O'Sullivan, Oliver May and Luke Bevis also scored.
The U11s North hit seven unanswered goals past Omonia White with James Parker-Mendez, Tom Goodall, Joe Regan and Amit Wangoo all on target.
Hat-tricks from Tom Cunliffe and Gabriel Connolly, plus a goal apiece from George Anderson and Michael Roche, helped secure an 8-2 victory for the U12s South gainst Gadeside.
The U9s North failed to score for the first time in 18 months falling to only their second defeat of the season, losing 1-0 to Panathanikos.
Two goals in the last two minutes helped the U10s North come from behind to beat reigning champions Whetstone Pumas 2-1.
Ashley Willing and Curtis got the goals.
Goals from Freya Rampley, Shivani Bedi and Kayla Johnson gave the U16s Girls a 3-2 win over St Albans City in the Cup.
Missed chances cost the U10s Girls as they lost out to high-flying Hampstead. Player of the Match was Drew Gill.
Luke Hatchett scored London Colney Colts U13s' only goal as they lost 7-1 to AEK Athens in the League Cup.
A slow start saw the U12s 3-0 down in the first 10 minutes of their game with Whetstone Wanderers Tigers.
Shaun Aylward and Ben Smalley scored to reduce the deficit but Whetstone held on to win 3-2.
Louis Hollands' excellent goal couldn't stop the U11s dropping out of the League Cup as they went down 6-1 to Northwood.
The U10s suffered extra time heartbreak losing 4-3 to London Maccabi Lions in the Challenge Cup. Conor McCallion and Alessandro Fardella (two) got the Colts' goals.
St Albans Rangers U16s claimed a 3-1 win over Brady Macabi White with two goals from Man of the Match Matthew Oliver and one from Jack Madley.
A hat-trick from Jack Woods and one from Jacob Webster gave the U15s a 4-1 win at Borehamwood.
The U13s Reds played Alexandra Park South in the League cup and won 7- 1 thanks to goals from Brad Kelly-Keener (three), Ben St Clair (two) and Kie Thompson.
Will Kilpatrick completed the scoring with a superb volley to claim his first ever goal for the club.
Wheathampstead Wanderers U7s were away against a very good Letchworth Eagles side.
In a good advert for youth football Wheathampstead's goals were scored by Cian Alexander (two), Joshua Faulkner and Jack Berridge.
Cub Scout Football: In an end to end game 18th Douthwaite ran out 5-3 winners against the 9th St Albans.
Douthwaite's goals came from Matthew Pollard (two) and a hat-trick from Billy Cresswell.
Finley Auld and Joe Regan (two) replied for the 9th.
The 4th St Albans racked up the goals beating 1st St Albans 17-0 despite a strong performance from the 1st's Man of the Match Jake Beels.
Goalscorers for the 4th were Alfie Seeby (six) Finley Long (five) Adam Skinner (three) Adam McKinnon (two) and Oscar Finnie.
In a very evenly matched game 2nd St Albans and 9th St Albans drew 1-1.
The 9th's Man of the Match Joe Regan opened the scoring only for the 2nd's Man of the Match Billy Lawrence to cancel it out.
