Harvesters round up

HERE we round up all of Harvesters fixtures from the weekend.
Harvesters’ U11 North reached the final of the Challenge Cup after beating Edmonton Cougars 5-3 thanks to four goals from Max Hodgeson and one from Edward Cleaver. Chris Rowe was MOM.
U16 North went down 3-1 at St Albans Rangers Red after leading at half time through a Jack Trigg goal. Stand-in goalkeeper Pearce Lynch was MOM.
After conceding three early goals, U15 North’s Dan White scored twice but the fight back came too late to salvage a point as they went down 3-2 to Alexandra Park North. MOM was Lumi Sopa before producing a magnificent performance in North’s Challenge Cup semi-final against St Albans City North before going down 5-4 on penalties after the match ended 0-0 after extra time. MOM of the semi-final was Tom Blight.
Dan Stanboulian was on the score sheet as U15 South drew 1-1 with Oakhill Tigers
Despite a superb goal from Jide Kawandami that gave U14 South a first half lead they were unable to hold on as Olympiacos Red fought back in the second-half to run out 2-1 winners.
After wrapping up the league title, U14 Girls beat Kinja 2-1 in a dress rehearsal for the upcoming League Cup final thanks to two goals from Olivia Syson and a POM performance from Mhairi Pennifer.
U13 went down 1-0 to Alexandra Park North with the MOM award going to Ashley Willing
U12 North beat Whetstone 5-1 thanks to two goals from Amir Berchil and one each from Finbar King, Dominic Kanggs and Freddie Wilkinson. They followed that up by overcoming Pinnacle 5-2 to move to the top of the Red Division with goals from King, Berchil, Harry Sprowson, Dominic Knaggs and George O’Connor
U12 South cruised to an 8-1 league win over Whetstone Wanderers with goals from Scott Gentle, George Hayford (two), Jack Hawthorne, Joe Caswell and a hat-trick from MOM Ben Lloyd.
A great passing game saw U12 Girls beat Croxley Guild 4-0. Goal scorers were Carly Amor and POM Nikita Bedi with a hat trick.
U11 South played a double header against Borehamwood Tigers drawing the first match 1-1 thanks to a goal from MOM Shai Climbs before going down 4-0 in the second game.
Goals from Annika Hanton, Eve Shaw and two from Amalie Newman-Booth helped U11 Girls comfortably beat Kings Langley 4-1 in midweek before going down 2-0 to Hitchin Belles in a close encounter at the weekend.
U10 East went down 5-4 to top of the table Aldenham Athletic with their goals coming from Adam Robinson, Hamish Michie, Tom Mileham and Jamie Willing.
U10 West kept alive their chances of winning the league title with a 3-0 midweek win over against St Albans Rangers thanks to two goals from Josh Clarke and one from Ahmed Berchill. They capped off a great week by booking their place in the Spring Trophy final after overcoming Cassiobury Rangers Blues 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out.
U9 North lost 1-0 at home to Bushey Rangers Hawks in their midweek league match despite a MOM performance from Adam Nash before exiting the Challenge Cup at the semi-final stage after losing on penalties to Whetstone Panthers. North led twice through goals from Oliver Gautier and Luke Gibbard but were unable to hold on as the game ended 2-2 after extra time with MOM going to Joe Ashton.
U9 East produced a strong team performance to secure a 3-3 draw against Alexandra Park thanks to two goals from MOM Joseph Burgess and one from Bobby Scott plus some spectacular saves from goalkeeper Henry Cox.
