YOUTH FOOTBALL: HARVESTERS U15s South gave an excellent performance beating Omonia White 3-2 with goals from Mani Banjo and two from Man of the Match Ben Gull.

The U13s South started the New Year as they hoped to go on with a 4-1 win at home over higher placed Gadeside. Calum McDonald netted a hat-trick with the final goal from a clinical finish by Ronan Gaffney. Sam Nevin earned Man of the Match.

Gabriel Connolly's early goal couldn't stop the U12s South losing out 5-1 to Nascot Wood Falcons.

A late goal from Barnet Azzurri knocked the U11s North out in the County Cup.

Harvesters Man of the Match was Charlie Goodchild.

Olympiacos Whites forfeited their game with the U11s South awarded the win.

Alex Stevens netted both the goals in the U10s East's 2-1 victory against St Albans Rangers in the first round of the Spring Trophy. Oliver Russell was Man of the Match.

The U9s South secured a well deserved 2-0 victory against Hadley Wood & Wingate Herons U9s, with goals from Joe Caswell and Ben Campbell while the U9s North suffered their first defeat of the season going down 3-2 in a tight match to London Lions with their goals coming from William Brothwood and Freddie Wilkinson.

St Albans Rangers U18s One Eights took on Potters Bar Blacks in the league at the weekend winning 2-1 in a well fought and even contest.

Both teams looked rusty following the long lay off. Rangers went 1-0 down just before the break, but George Preece equalised from close range following a good period of play from Rangers.

The momentum stayed with Rangers and their pressure finally paid off minutes form the end when an Elliott Goward corner was powerfully headed home by Preece.

Rob Tierney had a great game in goal for Rangers to keep things tight in defence.

Rangers U16s were beaten 7-1 by Berkhamsted Raiders. Rangers' goal was scored by Matt Farmer with Man of the Match going to Luigi Federici for a tireless performance in defence.

The U15s managed to overcome a four week lay off and some general rustiness, to beat a determined Highgate team 4-3.

The team created plenty of chances, resulting in two goals each for Jack Woods and Man of the Match Freddie Dines. Chris Moore was unlucky to have a wonder freekick ruled out for offside.

Rangers U9s Reds returned to league action in emphatic fashion as they routed AC Finchley U9 South 7-0 to take second spot in the Watford U9s Blue Division.

The goals came from Jack Hawthorne (two), Tejas Mauree, Noah Costin, Callum Lawrence, Scott Gentle and Musa Sakkejha.

In the only Cub football fixture played this weekend, Sandridge beat 1st St Albans 3-0.

In an even game both teams had chances to open the scoring but the goalkeepers made some fine saves.

Five minutes before half time, George Pettengell broke through the 1st's defence and drove the ball low into the bottom corner to break the deadlock.

In a very competitive second half Joseph Caswell was taken down in the penalty area and a confident Pettengell netted his second of the game. Two minutes from time Joseph Caswell scored Sandridge's third goal. Man of the Match for Sandridge was centre back Charlie Ringland and goalkeeper Ollie Wakeling for the 1sts.
