St Margaretsbury avenged their League Cup loss to Colney Heath with a 3-1 win over the Magpies in the SSML Premier Division.

Heath reached the final of the Dudley Latham Memorial Cup after beating St Margaretsbury 1-0 last Tuesday, courtesy of a second-half goal from Levi Gunn.

The Magpies couldn’t make it back-to-back wins on Saturday at the Recreation Ground. St Margaretsbury took a 2-0 lead before Courtney Lawrence pegged them back, and the visitors scored again late on.

Heath travel to third-placed AFC Dunstable on Saturday.
