London Colney moved up to eighth in the SSML Premier Division after beating Hoddesdon Town 3-0 at Cotlandswick on Saturday.

It was the third meeting of the teams this season, with the Blueboys now having won two and holding an 8-2 goal advantage.

In their first win, in the Herts Charity Shield, Colney won 5-0 and they were back to their goal-scoring best on Saturday. James Ewington continued his run of goals with a brace, taking his tally to seven in fives games, and Jimmy Hill linked up with Jack Woods to score his 12th of the season.

Colney are back in action on Tuesday away at Stotfold. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
